Dr. Taylor has Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida. Before founding TaylorMade Strategies, LLC, Dr. Taylor spent over 40 years with CSC helping various business units grow their business with numerous Government agencies. He was promoted to Vice President at CSC in 1983 to head the New Business Development organization for CSC’s Integrated Systems Division. In this role, he developed win strategies that resulted in the win of over $2 Billion of new business for CSC, including CSC’s initial systems integration contracts for the Air Force at the Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio. From 1993 to 1996, he was the executive responsible for all of CSC’s contract performance on over $300 million worth of contracts with various DoD customers in seven states.
Dr. Taylor left CSC in 1996 to become President of a global Systems Integration and Telecommunications company. In this role, he was instrumental in acquiring new business for the company in China, Taiwan, NATO as well as with the U.S. Federal Government. (The company was acquired in 1998).
Dr. Taylor returned to CSC in 1999 as a Vice President for Global Commercialization of CSC’s Chemical and Energy outsourcing business. For three years he was responsible for developing new business strategies for many of CSC’s major commercial performance based contracts. He rejoined CSC’s Federal Sector in 2002, where he was responsible for conducting Black Hats and capture process reviews on key CSC bids. In this role he established a Price to Win team, authored several papers and provided seminars and lectures on capture management best practices. He also is the author of a book entitled TaylorMade Approach to Capture Management which provides guidance on how to win business with the Federal Government.
